Who is responsible
Ioan Barber, a marketing and business development consultant based in Cardiff, is responsible for the details you send through this website. You can reach me at ioan@ioanbarber.com.
What I collect
When you use the enquiry form I receive your name, email address, and anything else you choose to add: business name, website, the kind of help you need and your message. The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why I use it
Only to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to run that work. The lawful basis is your request to hear back from me, and my legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Who else handles it
The form is protected against spam by Cloudflare Turnstile, and your message is delivered to my inbox using Cloudflare and Resend, who process it on my behalf. Nothing is sold or shared for marketing. If you book a call, Calendly handles the booking, and if you message me on LinkedIn, LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't turn into work are deleted within 12 months. If we work together, records are kept for as long as the law requires for business and tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details I hold about you by emailing ioan@ioanbarber.com. If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
